• LADIES CLASS led by Betty McPhail –
  JESUS CHRIST―THE GREATEST LIFE EVER LIVED
  
  The Ladies Class is currently studying the life of Christ, using the book, “Jesus Christ—The Greatest Life Ever Lived.”  This book is a unique blending of the four gospels into one in chronological order and every chapter and verse is included—nothing added nothing omitted.  With its many footnotes and illustrations, this book helps us to visualize the life of Jesus Christ. 

   We invite you to join us in the Ladies Class each Sunday morning.  In addition to spending time in the Word, we also share prayer requests and concerns in support of one another. of one another.

• COUPLES CLASS led by Bryan Jones –
  FIRM FOUNDATIONS:  CREATION TO CHRIST
  
  This Class consists mostly of young and maybe some not-so-young couples.  Our current study focuses on our being established in the faith and firmly founded in God's Word.
  
  This unique Bible study systematically lays a solid foundation for both understanding the Gospel and for Christian growth.  Lessons follow God's pattern of progressively revealing Himself and His plan of redemption within the contest of progressively revealing Himself and His plan of redemption within the context of history.  The lessons begin in Genesis and progress through the Old Testament and the life of Christ climaxing with His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, highlighting key themes.
  
  One of this group's highlights is a monthly get together at one of the member's homes (pot-luck, etc).  This informal setting provides the couples opportunity to know other couples in a non-threatening atmosphere.  The Couples Class says to other couples - "Come check us out!"

• NEW MEMBERS CLASS led by Kenny Hodges –
  FIRM FOUNDATIONS:  CREATION TO CHRIST
  
  "Foundations in Grace" is a semester course based on Titus 2:11-14.  It was designed and written by "Pastor Kenny" to provide a sure foundation for all who have chosen to make Emmanuel home.  It is a study of Basic Bible Doctrine regarding the Gospel of Grace and the Christian Life.  Don't let the word "Basic" trick you.  We might better say "Foundational," for this course consists of 14 weeks (lecture, dialogue, Q & A) of thinking through what the Bible says about GRACE (the course is more meat than milk).  Kenny and the Elders desire that everyone at Emmanuel take this course, but deem it pre-requisite for those who have a desire to teach.

• MIXED ADULT CLASS led by Butch Simmons –
  A STUDY IN THE WORD
  
  This mixed adult class is for any adult – young, not-so-young, single, or married – who desires to delve deeper into the Word.  The class consists of housewives, grandparents, professors, scientists, retirees, and ministers (you name it).  Our current study focuses on the richness and validity of God's Word as spoken by our Sovereign God.   Our ability to apply God’s Word to our lives rightly and effectively depends on what we believe God has spoken to us in His Word.

  You are invited to join us for an intensive time of learning together how to be more serious students of God’s Word.  Our Sunday morning times of study makes for interesting and rich times of dialogue.
