Our Vision |
|
| |
We
desire to impact the Starkville Community and the MSU Campus as a
grace‑centered, contemporary, caring church that equips and encourages
disciples of Christ to fulfill their ministry in the home and church and to
proclaim the gospel of the grace of Christ to the community and the world.

Our Beliefs |
|
| |
We believe that the Scriptures, consisting of the Old and
New Testaments, are verbally inspired and without error in the original
autographs, and are the final authority in faith and life. On the
basis of this understanding of the Bible we hold these truths as
essentials... |

Our Worship |
|
| |
Our worship is
blended. On Sunday mornings we use a full rhythm
section, brass section, and vocalists. Although mainly contemporary in
musical style we are blended in that use praise and worship songs, choruses,
and hymns to facilitate worshiping God. The Sunday evening
service is more traditional as we sing the great hymns of the faith
directly from the hymn book. We use music to draw our
hearts to the Throne of Grace and to help prepare us to hear God's Word. |

Our Leadership |
|
| |
Emmanuel is an elder led - congregation affirmed church.
We believe the pastor/elder's role is to equip believers for ministry while
the deacon's role is to serve and support those who do ministry.
